I think Jelena was correct. She shouldn’t be waiting for Serena to be ready
before she can serve. She was in the return position.

Ok, Serena is one of the best players ever, and she is definitely better
player than Jelena.
But she is very vulgar and rude! You can see at the begining when JJ is
throwing a ball and in same moment Serena is moving form position of
waiting serve to just standing. It is so obvious she did it on purpose!
And it isn’t her first time! She does it very often-look at JJ-Serena match
in Istanbul:
1. set-Serena is playing very good, she takes it 6:4
2. suddenly Serena has some problem, she can’t run, can’t serve, she almost
cryed, she loses the set by 6:2
3. now she is fine. She is blasting winners and playing at verry good
level, she wins the match 6:4,2:6,6:4
Can you tell me how that is not acting out ? She didn’t even took medical
time out, but she fully recovered !
Serena is like 10 times better player than Jelena, but Jelena is 15 time
better person than Serena!
You make fun of Jelena because she never won a GS… SO?! It doesn’t mean
she won’t win some! And if you look better, there are a lot of players who
won a GS but they are worse players than JJ (Stosur, Schiavone, Majoli and
maybe Kuznetsova and Li)

Serena’s probably he greatest female tennis player of all time. However,
saying she respects all her opponents… I don’t get why after the match
she always rushes in to shake the umpire’s hand first. Usually the person
who wins shakes the umpire’s hand last.

Jankovic, of all people, complaining about someone’s speed is hilarious.
She rarely lets her opponents even get in place before she starts serving.
Glad Serena put her in her place. About time someone did. If someone isn’t
ready when you’re gonna serve, they’re not ready. Jankovic should respect
that.

The rules of Tennis say you play to the speed of the Server, in this case;
it was Jelena. Serena had no place telling her to wait. Plus, Racism isn’t
the only reason why, not everybody likes Serena…She’s rude, fake,
arrogant and a bit of a bully. Venus is an absolute angel compared to her.

I scratch my head at the fact that no one ones JJ does this all the time,
she had the exact issue vs shara (in cinci I believe) and that was a
drama…but know one blewit up or cared…I guess suddenly at that moment
shara isnt famous? :/ *sratches head* I love JJ but she knows thats a slimy
tactic, even the umpire complains

A returner can hold their hand up to show they’re not ready, but, looking
at the footage, you can see Serena did this after the server had looked
away to toss, so, in my judgement, the breach of tennis etiquette was
Serena’s.
