@SChidambaram4 Seriously, these comments are ridiculous. Do you guys really
expect a woman to be able to physically compete with the best male players
or even juniors in the world? Women do not have the athletic potential that
men can have, OF COURSE there is going to be a huge gap between the ATP and
WTA. But the women try just as hard to compete as the men do! They need to
be given some credit.
in the past Venus and Serena boasted that they could defeat any male player
within the top 200… the player that took them up on that challenge was a
chain smoker who would light up a cig between changeovers…. he completely
destroyed both of them ^_^ GG
@jdezzey85 you are 100% correct. I would go even further and say that a
women’s tennis player cannot even get one ATP point in a US futures.
Women’s tennis is an embarrassment and Klahn is top 600 in the world and
just won NCAA’s. Lets be real here its not even a competition.
@scbaldwin13, you are mistaken. I was a tennis pro, and I can tell you that
the good college players are far and away better than the women. Remember
that this is an edited video.
actually. im pretty sure he’s just nervous. who wouldn’t be if u were
playing against a pro. he was obviously chosen because of his skillz, and
he felt like if he doesn’t live up to it then it’ll be bad.
You are right credit needs to be given, but only a very small amount.
Women’s tennis players make the same amount of money, but play less sets,
while hitting less balls per set, they do not even create the same amount
of revenue for the tennis tournament themselves. Women do not compete as
hard as the men. The problem is..they do not play as many points as the men
do in a calendar year. Also, the depth of the women’s game is just not at
the same level.

I agree. What’s the point of playing a match against a guy if he is not
gonna make her work for every point?

any guy thats in the top 50 at the D1 collegiate level would beat pretty
much beat any woman on the WTA, including venus and serena and these two

He is obviously nervous. I’ve never seen Klahn run to get a ball until now.

Even the that college kid is probably more athletic and stronger than
Jelena, Jelena has the experience in matchplay that boy won’t have for a
while.
